Some of the dazzleglass shades have/are being discontinued as well. I ordered Sugarrimmed and Baby Sparks.

Now Date night dazzleglass and oversexed plush glass are gone too.
I hope I can find back ups in store. I really loved those two. I check the goodbyes section rather frequently and don't remember seeing those. I just happened to try and purchase a back ups and saw they were gone.

During my last visit to MAC, I was informed that the discontinuation of Brown Script was protested against amongst MAC employees, therefore, it is no longer going to be discontinued, which may explain why it's still available on the MAC website (although it says that it is "Coming Soon" in both the refill pan and in the pot) and many of the other shades that were on the discontinuation list are no longer on the site. While I don't know if this is 100% true, I hope that it is. I used Brown Script and Handwritten for the first time today and I love them so much. I'm so disappointed that Handwritten has definitely been discontinued but I did get 3 (and 3 Brown Scripts too) so I'm happy about that.

Yeah I still went ahead and bout 2 backups of brow script just in case that is enough for a lifetime for me lol. Especially with ABH Morocco and Sienna and her other colors being similar which I have too

Yeah, I bought two backups of Brown Script too to make sure I would have enough to last me until Jesus comes back and don't regret doing so even if it really is going to remain permanent, lol. Fortunately, there are similar shades that would suffice if it really is discontinued but something about Brown Script itself seems special (which I guess it's why it's always been such a popular shade).

I honestly have never seen a true dupe of BS. many many shades look sooo similar but you're right there is just something about it that is different towards all the other warm-red browns. so yeah I too have backed up will buy my third one (one in my palette and two backups) just to be safe lol

same for me. I wanted to get a b/u but it was oos when i went to get. I managed to get 3 of blanc type even though i found a mufe shadow thats an awesome dupe. I definitely have plenty similar shades to BS like abh sienna, morocco, blazing etc but i still like BS idk lol

Since most, if not all of the discontinued shades are no longer on the website and Brown Script still is, at this point, I personally don't think it's going to be discontinued. It's taking a long time for it to come back in stock though. It still says coming soon and I'm assuming many stores are still have it out of stock as well.
I'm considering buying another one when it comes back in stock. Brown Script can be incorporated into so many eyeshadow looks that I don't think you can ever have enough of it, lol.
I wanted to get at least 3 Bamboos but it was out of stock online and at all of my nearest MAC stores when I wanted to get it. I'm having a hard time finding a good dupe for it too. I'm hoping that some eyeshadow palettes that I haven't used yet have similar colors, lol. I'm glad you were able to get a couple of Blanc Types and also found a permanent eyeshadow from another brand that serves as a dupe.
I'm very disappointed that Handwritten is gone as well. I was able to get backups but I really hate to see it go permanently. MAC recently stuck Mystery in an eyeshadow quad in the Brant Brothers collection so I'm wondering if they're planning to rerelease some of these discontinued shades in limited edition collections in the future (which sucks in my opinion, as I'm sure we all would have preferred for them to remain permanent).

I don't wear glosses much, but i REALLY wanted to get Date Night... i'll have to see if my local MAC still has one... Maybe there's a formula revamp coming.
Discontinuing basics like Handwritten and Brown Script seems odd. I could understand if they were "fashion colors" that had gone out of style, but these are classics in a classic formula.

Looks like Huggable lip colors and Velvetease lip pencils are being discontinued. They're on the Goodbyes page for 30% off.

I never buy any of their more expensive lip products because $17 has become the baseline for me. I could definitely see why they'd have difficulty selling them. Same goes for Velvetease - someone pointed out that NARS Velvet Matte lip pencils are only a few dollars more and contain a lot more product.
