Thank you Lovelies! The shimmer drops are EVERYTHING. OMG. They are more shimmer than glitter, which I love. And it really melds into your skin without looking too crazy. But I did it UP today. LOL
I am loving the swatches and looks! I have Sunlight & Candlelight on my get sample/swatch list for Friday!

I think that I am going to return the JH palette too. I have permanent becca blushes and the original champagne pop already. The single products seem to be better quality than what is in the palette.

Nah I'm not getting that Tarte palette. I think I'm getting tired of chasing fads.
I got the Jaclyn Hill palette, but decided not to keep it. It's cute, but I know I have those blush colors, AND it reminds me of the Summer palette from TM. I thought the quality was nice and the colors were nice.

I also got the Modern Renaissance palette, I have these colors x over so I technically don't need it. The lighter shimmer shades don't work for me and the rest seem more like transition and crease colors. I'll have to play with it more. This palette does kick up a LOT of powder. But the shadows are smooth and very blendable. You need a light touch with these.

ABH MR Palette is on my lust/must! I feel like PP! All these fad/youtube/insta famous releases rub my fur the wrong way. So no Tarte and no JH. I have yet to get some BECCA but have a sneaking suspicion they may release just a blush palette in near future...as long as no one's name is slapped all over it, I would be all in.

Ordered the new Born This Way concealer off Too Faced's website on Friday. I have to say, I am really impressed by TF's shipping! I ordered Friday morning, and it was delivered Monday afternoon. Before Too Faced could even email me a tracking number, LOL! And for a limited time, orders in the US are free shipping no minimum.

Unfortunately, I got a faulty concealer. The piece that snapped on to connect the wand to the tube was loose and concealer was oozing out. I took photos and emailed them to Too Faced CS, hopefully they help me out. The consistency of the concealer is really nice. I ordered "Very Fair" though I wouldn't say it's very fair... It blends in perfectly to my skin tone but is more peachier/orange instead of neutral or cool. I was hoping that this would be more of a highlighting shade. It should work nicely to cover any blemishes or my dark circles though.

I wish there were more nice concealers that came light enough for me. I don't like the formula of the MUFE HD concealer. It creases like hell, no matter how I try to set it. Everyone raves about the UD Naked Skin concealer but their lightest shade doesn't even work to conceal spots or dark circles because it oxidizes sooo much on me.

I'm going to test out the TF concealer today though.

I've kind of given up on finding a concealer...sigh. Not a one has done anything for me. I even gave the BECCA Undereye Brightener a good try...but it is tricky to use and just never seems to set up the way I want. Naked was too sheer/thin for me too. Tarte Maracuja was too thick! I am sorely tempted to replace my YSL Touche Eclat which I just dabbed over foundation undereye to brighten! Then saw that Dior is coming out with a luminizing pen...Both are pricey! Anymahoozy...after that long winded blah blah, I am curious about the Too Face concealer! Please do report back!

Have you tried the Nars radiant creamy concealer in Chantilly? It's super light and actually neutral.

Sooo I went to Sephora today and got the Candlelight highlighter by Cover FX. Sunlight seemed too ashy or just too...something. Candlelight seemed to work better on my complexion so we'll see. I also got the Perfect Pencil in N Deep for my waterline because every other pencil makes me look like I have boogers in my eye, but not this. I just have to test the wear time.
Sunlight was weird on me too. Like it was too ashy or light, or like you said, something. Candlelight is almost my exact shade with this tan. LOL
Yup! I work downtown GR & live on the Wayland/Dorr line about 35" from KZOO :D Been in MI for 12 yrs. now.
------That is so cool. Love meeting people from Michigan!

So MAYBE I went a little overboard with Cover FX Sunlight. Mixed two drops with cover drops and three of oil, then a little more on the high points of my face, and on the center of my lips...?

I kind of look like a Twilight Vampire, but I don't really care.:sunshine:
LOL, I think you look good. One of the MUA in Sephora used so much she looked metallic. You're no where near that.

I think that I am going to return the JH palette too. I have permanent becca blushes and the original champagne pop already. The single products seem to be better quality than what is in the palette.
Ohhh that's good to know. I still haven't used their blushes. I never got a foundation b/c I couldn't find a color match. I should play around with their other products.

A blush palette would be nice.
I didn't care for the Tarte concealer either. My friend LOVES it. The colors didn't work for me. Like with all brands, I'm too dark for the medium, and too light for the medium dark. I've just decided I'm a weird color. LOL

Oh and Fur, that ABH Modern Romance palette would look great on you.

LOL! Exactly my issue! I'm just weird too! :five: Add on top of that, no one can decide on what my undertone is. Half of the muas match me as neutral with pinks and the other half match me to warm yellow. So sometimes I feel like I look"flat" and other times I am "Oompa Loompa!" ARRGGGH! :scream: I cannot win! At least for now I am tan, so I fit into a different (read darker) shade range.

I am definitely in for the ABH MR!

HAHAHA I can totally relate to the undertone thing. I've been told I had them all. *sigh* Then two summers ago I noticed that I wasn't really getting darker, but redder. HUH? I just know that MAC nc45 makes me look orange. THen when I think I have my shade someone like Tracee Ellis Ross says she uses it (Bobbi Brown Golden) WHAAAAAAT? LOL I'm really tan now, but I have no idea how it translates. LOL I am always on the quest for the perfect concealer and foundation, EVERY SINGLE season.

there is no way you are pink
based on your photo you look warm toned (yellow)

I feel your pain! I share your pain! LOL! My tan is definitely more golden than red. Maybe someday we'll get it right and find our HG. In the meantime I keep begging for samples...

Thanks Monsy! I agree. None of the pink toned products ever worked! The trick is finding the right yellow under-toned product. Like PP when I have gone back to my MAC stash, I feel like I just look more orange.

In my current picture I am wearing the EL DW Soft Tan 4C3 (in direct sun
:sunshine:).
Hands down the best match in color and formula, when I am not tan. I need to see if they can match me again now that I do have a tan. ;)

I've been waiting on a product like this that is shimmer based and not glitter and with a thin/watery texture. I like products that are minimal but still make an impact and this illuminator is effortless.

You should try Shea Moisture Serum foundation. They have great shades for WOC.
