Rosso Pompeiano.
With fingers: four swipes of balm over bottom lip, two over the top and three swipes of colour over bottom lip and residue swiped over the top

@Icecaramellatte, the colour is lovely but the balm didn't do much for my dry lips.

Still haven't tried Le Crème Main

Thanks for the info. The color looks really pretty on you.

I wore the palette a few times this week and wore The green Ombre Premiere with Petrol Noir Ombre Premiere. It was really pretty. I'm leaning towards getting the green eye liner but I'm hesitant as I have so many green eyeliners. I will go back to the store next week to test out the other products.

Nice! The green stylo yeux looks nice but I have Mark Jacobs' Intro(vert) liner already. I was initially interested in Nero Vulcanico, though.

Can't wait to hear what you think of the rest of it.

Layered Rose Pompeiano with a bit of Mac pure happiness today. Love the way it turned out. :cloud9::cloud9:

I use whatever balm is convenient with the powders. Usually it is not the one in the compact. I prefer handheld balms in a tube.

I could see that working better for sure. That being said, I don't see the powders happening for me so long as Incantevole is in the same collection and I don't have a backup. Also considering a back up of Nero Vulcanico. Every time I wear it, I get compliments.

I've checked this collection twice, and I can't make it work together.

Les 9 ombre attracted me because of the center shades, but overall it's too colour erratic and warm for me. However, the two trios on the sides make up for a good "base" palette, and with the coloured duo in the middle, gives it a nice twist. All of them are satin or matte, except the colour ones which have a bit more flair (especially the green one, which is a rare colour these days :(). I'd say it's a nice "classic" to have for anyone interested in a "base" palette with a twist. Like, for travelling.

I love the cream shadow, very nice. It applies reasonably, for that kind of shade. Somewhat flat, but very pretty, and it transforms well when combined with others. It's been awhile since I got something from CHANEL.

The light pink, turquoise, and yellow nail colours are nice. I got the link pink one, it's rare that I actually like a light pink one that doesn't look awful with my skintone. Turquoise is too close to like 3 shades I already own (it's true, it's close to Nouvelle Vague!) and the yellow is a bit too dark, clashing with my undertones.

The green cream shadow and the light pink nail colour look really charming together.

Well, I haven't made my peace with them yet, but it's a start.

Thank you for your impressions -- that's exactly what I feel. It's curious because I thought the same thing about the 9 ombres -- that it would be a very nice palette to travel with.
As I haven't already decided if the Liner would suit me (blue eyes, pale with rednesses on cheeks), I have used (the one time I played with the palette) a neutral (cool) brown fluid liner (Guerlain, nr. 5) with it, which works well. But then you get a very neutral look -- which is perhaps not how the collection should be interpreted (? -- but who cares)

My problem is that I don't already know which lip coulour will really work with the palette. I've bought the red-pink one (Incantevole) but in my humble opinion it doesn't really fit. I'm afraid, I've to check out my whole collection :D.
What do you choose? I also want to make my peace with Neapolis

I love Incantevole-- it's almost the perfect red for me, but I have been wearing the Coco Shine Dialogue with the palette, or even Coromandel which is warmer. I've also used brown liquid liner with the palette, as well as blackened green, from another shadow I have applied wet, as well as Nero Vulcanico which pulls the look cool.

I was shocked when I saw promo pictures of this collection, and shocked when I saw it on person. None of it really works with each other, at least I can't think of how without looking "too much". However, if the products are seen separately or in duos, there are a few lovely combos. I still think this would fit a summer collection better though.

If you think the eyeliner colour doesn't work with your cheeks, but you still like the colour very much, then try using it only in the top (with a neutral or none at all in the bottom). I've done this before with yellowish shades, it works very well.

The model for the campaign doesn't work, IMO she looks like a clown. There's no help in giving inspiration does it? I personally dislike very pigmented lipsticks, so none of this collection is for me. However, what I remember from what I saw at the store is that the "reddish" lipsticks work fine with the palette (if the coloured duo isn't used), but none of the products really fit with the bright eye / nail colours. I'd just go with nude lips in that case. I don't think it's workable in another way, not even the model manages to make it look good.

About peace, I meant peace with CHANEL in general. I walked out on the brand when they refused to bring the Christmas 2012 collection to my country. I've rarely bought anything from them since then. I am a sucker for green though, so I couldn't resist it this time. The pink nail colour looked lovely with it, and it looked nice on mails though, so I got it as well.

Thank you so much, MakeupAli and SlugPower, for your replies! Everything you wrote inspired me.
Of cause, Incantevole for itsself IS the perfect red, also for me, and, it works quite well with the neutral colours, but (for me), as SlugPower wrote, not with the blue/green, i.e. the bright ones.
Yesterday, I tried the Powder (Rosso pompeiano) with the 'right side' of the neutral colours; this is also beautiful. And even my Tweed Evanescent works with it.

Now, I have to look for a neutral CocoShine, like Dialogue (which I don't own, I suppose, but lots of other nude CocoShines), to try the two bright colours (and, then, wait for summer to wear them). Thank you! Sometimes, I just need someone who explains how you can make it work , especially when I don't like/understand the look of the model as it was the case.

I also got the pink nail colour but haven't tried yet. I will check out the Stylo again.

Well, you can't go wrong with a nude Coco shine either. I have worn MAC Velvet Teddy along with JC Elegance or Rouge Profonde to do a warm cheek that balances the eyes without overwhelming with too much color. It's just a lot of color. I am fair with dark hair so I can carry that. But I can see where it could be too much for some people.

Hello, all make-up lovers -- are you enjoying the 9-colours-palette? I'm using it quite often (in fact, more often than I ever guessed), but it is the light orange matte shadow, that I like most and there isn't much left of it. This is rare for me.
So I started seeking for a replacement, and that has been really difficult. Most of the shades I tried (all lines, all houses) are shiny or glittery, not matte, even if the colour is more or less matching. The only thing I've found until now (a SA was helping me) is a blush -- Clinique's Cheek Pop in 02 peach pop -- but I wonder if there isn't a 'real eye shadow' matching it. Do you have any idea?? I would be very grateful. I have already controlled all my stuff (a lot), but didn't find anything. I'm always glad when I get a nice blush, but I'm hesitating using it for my eyes. What do you think of that?

Thank you so much in advance, brigthfairy

Check out temptalia, she usually has lists of comparisons. I believe the one you're talking about is shade #1 (click "check dupes"):

If you can check them at a store, it would be even better. So look for the ones classed as "permanent". According to this there is Cheeky from Colour Pop for example.

If it's not #1 , check which one is here:
