Oh dear that is a bit stressful. I hope that the situation will turn around, but I really understand. Hugs!

I really do live on the side of positive and looking for the good in things. It's just been hard in particular these past two weeks...a confluence of stuffs...Coming back from a super nice vacation to frigid temperature and long dark days, getting back into the grind of daily work and responsibilities, finding out that not only my boss is leaving, but the dean of our university library is also leaving (two libraries with no leaders :( ) AND add on top of that my monthly cycle :mecry:making me "all kinds of weepy"...I am just a walking hurt...lol! But it will pass and things will certainly get better. :)

I've tried some new beauty products lately that I LOVE & one I'm still testing.

Herbivore Prism - amazing clear skin results. Almost finished a bottle.
Herbivore Emerald - Holy Cow! Skin changer alert!!!!! Hubs & I both had some dry areas that NOTHING would correct. TWO applications and they were healed. Hubs needs his own bottle now that we both love it. It works AND it heals discolorations & makes the skin SUPER soft & smooth.

Didn't i tell you how incredible Herbivore is? I love it so much. I am using these two also as well as phoenix oil at night (the best for dry skin) and orchid in the morning

I knew you loved Phoenix & Orchid, but I didn't know you loved these 2. :tee: They are really great products. I'm going to order a bottle of the Emerald for hubs because he loves how it has helped his skin.

What are you ladies loving for cleaning makeup brushes? I use longwear foundation and its super stubborn to get out of my brushes. Which means I just keep buying new ones to avoid the mental task of getting the others cleaned lol. I won't tell you how many brushes are in my brush basket waiting to be cleaned *facepalm*

Bizarre as it may sound, I use Dawn. A tiny amount goes a long way. I am even able to get Tarte Shape Tape to wash out of my dense concealer brush.

I've always used the antibacterial Wet Ones with the red cap. Fast & easy, the brushes smell clean & it dries quickly for use.

I like solid cleansers. Beauty Blender solid or the London Brush Company Solid. Honestly if you can get your hands on the Dr. Bonners Bar soap that works well too.

I've used Dr. Bronners but I don't like how it makes some of my brushes feel. My challenge, though, with all the different soaps I've used is that they just don't get all the foundation out on the first or second go. I always end up with that foundation spot right in the middle of my brushes. For all other products those different cleansers work fine. I'll keep searching though.

Before I started using solid cleansers I used to use Parian Spirits or Cinema Secrets. Also, an old thing I used to do was loosen foundations with olive oil before a thorough wash. Hope you find something that works.
