All Things Sephora

I don't think their customer service really cares and they're just given a line to repeat ad nauseam. I'm sure they know their employer is stingy as hell. Sephora's whole reward program is ridiculous to begin with -- i.e. that you have to spend so much to become a Rouge but then you're reduced to stalking the beauty bazaar twice a week for meaningful rewards? Screw that s**t.
Ulta's coming to Canada in early 2020 so my beauty dollars are going to be redistributed. Many others on the Sephora boards are giving explicit feedback on this b.s. system and saying they are taking their purchasing power to competitors. Sephora should take heed and start respecting the customers they do retain so much more.
The sad part is there are a few brands that are exclusive to Sephora that I want to keep throwing my $$ at. For example, I get free shipping at Sephora. At Melt I have to spend $75 dollars to get that.

That's true. I probably can't cut out Sephora entirely but I can reduce my patronage significantly -- as in drop from Rouge to BI. I see that a lot of you have done so in favour of other vendors.
If I remember to do so today, I am going to try and get on the Beauty Bazaar 5 min before they drop the goods to see if I can even see a $100 reward let alone manage to snag it.

^^^^^This! I just made the VIB tier...unusually late in the year for me...but I have also been working hard to stay low buy. AND it is also because I have been taking my coin directly to brands who are offering good sales/coupons, free shipping and Rakuten cash back. Sephora is no longer my first choice when there are better options/offers

Just noticed Barney's has 5% off makeup and fragrance today. I don't know how long that is for. I think why bother? That won't even cover tax for me but they do have brands some stores don't carry so if you were going to buy something anyway. . . . But then again, they have done sales way better than that before. I don't know what this is about. Anyone know?

No but I agree it’s pitiful.

Though even with Barney's essentially closing up shop, five percent off is pretty ridiculous.

For some reason I thought they were keeping the NYC store. Guess not. Sad.
