How does your boyfriend react to your love of makeup?

My bf likes it when I do my makeup, and he'll tell me if it looks good or bad. Hes an artist so he can see the different color combos and see if theyll look good together. He even looked at my brushes once and said they they were just like paint brushes and then he did my makeup for me, lol!! And he actually did it pretty good, his blending was great. He also bought me this adorable black traincase as a surprise, lol hes great.

i love to put on different colors but he absolutely hates it. he usually likes me better with barely any make up on although from time to time, he's pretty supportive

my hubby likes me with or without makeup.. when i put on makeup he will give comments whether or not he likes it/too loud/too little.. and he buys me my MAC cos he knows it makes me happy. i guess he understand that makeup is my hobby as i understand his love for computer games.

My bf is awesome (as opposed to my ex-husband). He is very metro-which I love, so he appreciates my addiction with all things girlie-makeup, bath bombs, Lush, etc. He always tells me I am pretty without makeup as well, but has no problem when I want to glam it up too. He says it makes him feel good to have a girlfriend that cares about how she looks and it is great that I take time to pamper myself. I definately think he's a keeper!

haha. he's well educated, and recognizes stuff.
he even takes me shopping at MAC and spends a bunch of money there.

he's a pusher to my addiction! haha

My boyfriend loves to buy me makeup!!!! he knows it makes me happy!!! he spoils me to death!!!! i love it when he just brings me home things to surprise me!!!!! ahhh i love him!

aww...it seems kinda mean that some ppl bfs say they HATE when they wear makeup, or that they're not allowed to buy it without asking, or they won't even touch them if they have makeup on. they should at least be supportive if it means so much to you!

my bf is pretty supportive, obvi he's like all bfs and says i look gorgeous without makeup but he always compliments my makeup. he's so cute because sometimes he is confused with all the stuff i use and he's like "i don't understand what this is for" and then i have to explain it to him lol. when i told him i wanted to start trying to do tutorials he was like "you should! you're really good!" lol. when i get new stuff, if i get a good price he's always excited for me. and whenever i am talking about new stuff he always listens.
we have a deal that he can spend as much money on his car as i spend on makeup

He loves it, It's great because he really notices when I do something different and admits that he prefers me with make-up on. I'd rather he told the truth than lied about me looking "more beautiful without it" lol - yeah right! I look terrible au naturel!
He finds it quite sexy when I go for really bright or crazy colours as well.

My boyfriend doesn't mind the fact that I wear makeup, but the one time I took him to MAC was when I stopped to buy from the heatherette collection. He just couldn't understand why i paid so much. He looked so lost, he even sat down in one of the chairs where they do your makeup and waited. LOL But he does notice when I wear it, just the other day he pointed at my cheeks and said he liked the blush I was wearing. :] I love when boys actually pay attention.

My boyfriend is funny. He can careless wheter I wear makeup or not. He always says I don't need makeup to look good. He also knows its my passion and hobby which hes cool with. but he hates when I buy it. lol Hes like you dont need anymore stop wasting money. Also he gets mad because when I put on my makeup our 2 year son always ask m to put some on him lol I tell him no its for girls and he runs out screaming lol. But hey I am out numbered in our home. I'm the only girl its just me, him and our 2 boys. I deserve to do some me time

my fiance likes when I wear makeup and he says I'm beautiful without it, too. he doesn't get how expensive it is but he doesn't complain or anything (I mean, it's my own money I'm spending lol). he loves when I wear bright colors or do a red lip. the only time he told me it looked like I had too much on was when a stila MA did this whole smokey bronzey look on me. I think it's just cause it was something I wouldn't have done.

My ex was so supportive about it, he even went as far as suggesting colors and going to MAC to get what I wanted! lol The girls there knew him better than me ;x

But the guy i'm kinda talking to now hates makeup, he prefers me without, and he thinks that even having only liner and mascara on is too much lol. But we've made a compromise... As long as he keeps collecting shoes (he has over 150 pairs of Nike) than I can keep buying makeup! yay!

i'm quite lucky and my husband likes my make up. he doesn't like the money i spend on MAC but he likes the way it looks! He never really knows what i put on but he'll say that my eyes or lips or cheeks look pretty. Although the other week when with friends we went into the mnac pro store in london and my friends were like 'what the hell is all this stuff?!' and hubby was explaining what mixing mediums do/pigments/paints and stuff while i was 'being seen to'. so i thought that was kinda cute

So I never really thought my wearing makeup had much of an effect on my bf except that it takes me forever to get ready, but the other day the check out lady at the grocery store had blue eyeshadow on and as soon as we left the store he said, "she really needs to blend more."

My guy likes it. He likes that I enjoy collecting it (that said, we aren't married yet lol) and loves it when I do smokey eyes and other fun stuff. He is so patient when he comes with me to MAC and gets really into it for me. I do the same for him with cars so it all evens out.

My fiance doesn't understand it at all lol not that I expect him to, but you know. He thinks I'm silly getting up so early to do my makeup before work! But he likes to spend lots of money on his car, so I try to liken that to makeup
