When I spoke to a NARS SA last week at Nordstrom she said they would have a cheek and eye combo palette for the Anniversary sale. She mentioned some other things, but I was so sad about there not being another cheek palette that I spaced out. Sorry ladies.

Bestthingsinbeauty has a very extensive list of Nordstrom Anniversary items, though it's not complete. I didn't see any NARS products on the list.
I saw that post and that was what got me thinking all about Anniversary Sale. I can't wait for the catalog to come out so we can figure out what else is included.

Hmm, another eye and cheek combo. We'll have to see what's included in it. :)

I feel like I'm waiting forevvvvvvver for the Anniversary sale info. Catalogs are being mailed as we speak. I can't believe we'll be able to presale in just over a week.

I went to the counter and asked my MUA about the holiday collection.
He couldn't see all of them, but he said most of them will come out as sets just like Andy Warhol.
It isn't good news for me b/c I hate sets.:( Based on my experiences, there're at least 3~4 items which I didn't use or like whenever I bought as sets, so I stopped buying sets a long time ago.

Thank you for asking your MUA. :)
I hope they keep last year's formula: a collection of gift sets / palettes and a collection of individual items.

I liked that system a lot. Last year I was still fairly new to NARS so the sets meant that I could add some good staple items to my collection, but this year I won't need too much. I'll want unique pieces that really stand out.

I went to the counter and my MUA showed me a lookbook!

About the palettes like Foreplay (the 3rd pic above), they're all blushes and highlighters and they aren't new shades. I can't remember all of shades, but there're Desire, Zen, Miss Liberty, Outlaw, Deep Throat and Dolce Vita (I'm not sure about Dolce Vita) in the palettes.
I can remember Desire, Zen and Deep Throat are in the same palette and Outlaw and Dolce Vita are in the same one.

And he said there's some powder+lipstick palette.(The top side is some powder and the bottom one is lipsticks.)
About the holiday main collection, there'll be around 3~4 sets and most of the holiday collections come out as sets just like he said before.

Ooo. Thank you for scoping out new info! I have most of those colours, but I'll still have check them out. The gift sets were nice last year, since I was still very new to NARS and didn't have much, but this year I'll probably focus more on the colour collection.

I'm confident there will be a set collection and a regular collection, just like last year. :p

Anyway, this palette is called Realm of the Senses.

So this palette is not part of the Bourdin collection. I hypothesized it might be, that's not the case. My bad. :p I'l post more information in the fall 2013 thread.
I still think the promo picture of Toni Garrn is for the Bourdin collection.

That's why my MUA couldn't remember they're in the holiday collection and swore couldn't see them! :)

EDIT: Still not part of the Bourdin collection. Sorry, sorry, sorry. :p

So I believe the palette on the right is called Killing Me Softly. These are the ones Aquamarine 1543 said she saw in the lookbook her MUA showed her. :D

Here is the picture from eBay.

Thank you I've been wanting some nars blushes but I want then in a palette so this might work for me.

BTW I had bought a nars blush from my local Sephora, its supposed to be Dolce Vita but I looked on the bottom and it says "Fathom". I googled but there is no blush named Fathom should I take it back to my store? am I over reacting?

Fathom is an eyeshadow. You should definitely take it back to the store so they can exchange it for a blush because you paid for a blush (which is more expensive than an eyeshadow) and that's what you should get. A blush case is bigger than an eyeshadow one by the way.

There are more information about the 4-color blus palettes that look like Foreplay.
I don't think they're part of the holiday collection since they're supposed to be available in mid-september in Japan, when I imagine the holiday collection to be available in October / November. So I posted all the information in the Fall 2013 thread. :)

OK, for real now, here are some pictures about the NARS + Bourdin collection. :)

Screencaps made for Specktra.net . Please credit this thread if you're sharing them. :)

I see a pink blush, a blue eyeshadow and a red lipstick.
Also check out the source, it's an interesting video about how Fabien Baron came up with the NARS packaging. ;)

(top left) It might just be a Bourdin picture, but it's being used for the campaign, and possibly the packaging. :)

Color-wise, everything is yellowy. It's tagged with #nars and #guybourdin so that's why it's here. :p
In my dreams this palette would contain Exhibit A, but even if everything is yellowy, it's such a bright shade that it would show here.

(top left) Is it the Bourdin collection? It was a training session for the new products and I don't see anything from the fall collection. Plus the blue eyeshadow, red lipstick and pink blush correspond to the promo picture above. Note the Foreplay-style palette: the colors seem not to correspond to the other blush palettes we've seen so far, and the top right color looks very dark while the bigger color looks lighter.

I spy a lip set (the lip pencils are not full size), and a Larger Than Life Eyeliner gift set (because they're not full size and they're bundled together). They used Bourdin pictures for the packaging, it seems. :)
