I have always worn brownish black or dark brown eyeliner b/c when I apply black it looks too harsh and dark on me, yet I think it looks really gorgeous on other people with lighter skin. Anyone else unable to pull off black, or do you think it's just something in my head and that anyone can wear it?

Should I use an accent color on lid and just one color for V and crease since my lids are smaller? Or could I use two different colors (V and crease) and bring the crease color up above just a bit since my browbone is larger? What would you do?

I went in to get matched for color and was a lot lighter than I had thought and had been wearing. The MA said a lot of people wear foundation to darken their coloring and this is a no, it should be done with a bit of bronzer instead. Curious as to what everyone wears!
