Jasmine in the new perfume would make sense, lol!  I agree about the mirror and the palette.  They're what I have my eye on right now too.  And I've known a few Jasmines in my life and think it's a beautiful name! :specktrawelcome:
I love the smell of Jasmine so hopefully I will love this perfume because I really wanted to love cinderella's "so this is love" Thank you!

I really want the mirror oh gosh!! I might need it more than that palette!!!! I'm actually really sad they won't be releasing Aladdin on blu ray at the same time, because I also have a very serious addiction to collecting disney movies! Lol
I'm sure it won't be too long before they re-release the movie!

Just looked at the Cinderella mirror, man, so sad I missed it. It's so beautiful! The Jasmine one is pretty, but I think imma wait to see the other ones. I don't need more than one lol I love the packaging of the palette. Not so much on the colors. I love Jasmine, but looks like I'll be passing.

.......I don't get it. So she's walking around the desert...we can't see her face very well most of the time to get a look at the makeup...sometimes there's sun glare so I can't see much at all....yeah, I don't get it, lol. Awesome that you found this though!
I agree with literally everything you just said. I couldn't see anything. And with the intense eye look they did, I still couldn't see what kind of look it was exactly. Not the best promo if you are trying to sell makeup :/

Here's the info on the second eyeshadow palette (it's a quad, same size/packaging as the cinderella quad):

  • Magic Carpet Ride Eyeshadow Palette ($36 CAD)
“Shut your eyes and take a chance”
Take a chance on this eye-catching palette with four jewel-toned shades that are easy to apply and blend for a variety of mesmerizing eye looks. Let your eyes sparkle like a thousand twinkling lights with these brilliant shades, including Diamond Sky (deep turquoise inspired by Jasmine’s outfit on the Magic Carpet ride) and three glittery shades, Carpet (violet inspired by Jasmine’s magic carpet ride in the moonlight), Wonder by Wonder (lavender inspired by the faces of love at night), and Splendid (peachy-pink inspired by the glow and hue of the moon during the magic carpet ride).

Jewel-toned, huh? Can't wait to see Diamond Sky in particular. Sounds like this is going to make its way into my shopping cart...

Just thought I'd share this info: http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/01/15/entertainment-us-disney-3d-idUSBRE90E00I20130115. Looks like Disney won't be re-releasing The Little Mermaid in 3-D (but I really hope it gets a DVD release). TLM is my absolute favorite so I hope they release it this summer!

So as a middle eastern and fan of princess Jasmine this is a must for me. I showed the products to my hubby and he said he'll treat me to them :D I adore the packaging and think they did her justice :) About the video, one thing I don't like about it is that the girl hardly looks middle eastern. I mean middle Easters are very diverse in look but she still looks much more Indian to me....

Now that I have seen more pics with the packaging I am really excited especially about the quad! the carpet ride is my fav part of the movie so I will be getting that for sure! having 2nd thoughts on the mirror but I will probably still get it lol. I LOVE the es palette but I want to get the same items for each princess and I didn't get the Cinderella palette. sticking to the quads and mirrors!

Who doesn't love the carpet ride? Such a beautiful scene. Totally with you on that! Since I didn't pick up anything from the Cinderella collection, this is really a free-for-all for me, haha. I might have to do both the e/s palette and the quad. And the mirror is a no-brainer! I'm thinking my haul from this might be the thing that bumps me up to VIB status, lol.

I grew up in the middle east and that girl is definitely indian! I was quite annoyed when I saw the video, it's like the people who made the vid can't differentiate between arabs and south asians!! Jasmine's an arabian princess!

No Aladdin's story in the movie was based somewhere imaginary in the Middle East (I wanna say Iraq). And so Jasmine would not be Indian. I always thought is the movie she was darker than an middle eastern I know...much more of an Indian skin tone

I finally had some time today at home to watch the video again, since I was so distracted the first time around by the lack of makeup in it that I didn't pay too much attention to the girl's apparent ethnicity. But yeah, I'm totally with both of you on this. She looks like an Indian Bollywood star, not Middle Eastern at all! Of course, as Shadowy Lady pointed out, there are many different looks to Middle Easterns, but to me that's even more reason why they should have been able to cast that commercial correctly. They had such a variety of skin tones and looks they could've picked from, and instead they picked someone from outside that pool. Definitely a bizarre choice, and I understand how this could be viewed as insulting!
