Seriously! Whaaat... I didn't know that. I thought that I saw bags at the outlet that were on her site. That was a long time ago though. I need to stop buying handbags ..period :hide::rofl:

The outlet bags are definitely different. I've noticed that at both Coach and Kate Spade (my daughter's love). I have an outlet KS wallet, and it's a bit different from the retail ones. I'm perfectly happy with the one I have and I always beat the crap outta them by stuffing way too much in. I'll take the deep discount, thanks. Not so much for Coach bags; the leather is often different and a lot of the details aren't there. I find that I do better at a retail semi-annual sale than in the outlet.

I love my new Rogue so much that I'm now lusting after the Steel Blue version with the Oxblood Suede interior. Only it's full price, and I've never made that leap. No can do (unless it's still around at my annual incentive time or ends up on sale). :roflmao:

I think I bought a wristlet from the KS outlet many years ago but didn't notice. And, I can't get anything into those but maybe just my phone!! LOL I'm a crammer too :shakehead::rofl:I refuse to ever pay full price too. Your new Rouge sounds awesome! You know you'll end up with the steel blue...eventually lol!

I know I will. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying it full price. It's this one: Access Denied

I saw it in the store when I was monogramming my tag from the one I got on sale. The outer pockets are fully lined in suede, and the combination of the warm blue and the oxblood is stunning. I've never spent this much for a purse, and I really don't want to set this precedent. The Canadian price is even higher.

I've seen things in the outlet that were online for both coach, MK, Kate Spade... I don't get the chance to go often so that might have been sheer luck the times I went.

Yes, Coach & KS makes items specifically for their outlet stores. That's why I never go in them. Used to if an item KS had on their site in the sale section was made for the outlet they put that in the description part of that item. It would state This item was specifically made for Kate Spade New York outlet stores. Then I noticed I didn't see that anymore in the description of any item. I called and asked and was told they no longer make items just for the outlet stores. I'm not sure this person knew whether they no longer stated it in the description or no longer made outlet items. I reworded my question & she said the same. However she didn't convince me.

Now when I see something I want on the site on sale I google it, even if I'm almost positive I've seen it in a store. If the item comes up like at Nordies, Saks, & such then I know it's not an outlet item. If it comes up just on KS site & eBay then I assume it was made for the outlets. I generally will go ahead and click on it if it does show at say Nordies. Usually it will show the item with No longer available. It could be just that color has been discontinued, such as a seasonal color & that's why KS has it marked down. I have also seen a store still has it but they have it on sale as well.

When I did buy Coach several years ago I never saw anything stating that an item was made specifically for their outlet stores. I never purchased anything from their sale section on the site, only in stores. However a customer service person told me on the phone they did make items that were just for the outlets but they were made of the same quality as the others. I asked her if that was the case then why make separate ones. She stumbled on that & continued to tell me how they were all the same quality & bla bla bla.

Some items that were sold in stores (not made for the outlets) will occasionally show up in the outlets. At least that's what the Coach cs person on the phone told me. She said if you ask a sa at the outlet they will show the ones that were sold in stores.

I'm pretty sure most of the brand outlet stores do the same thing. Of course that's not true at like the CCO stores. For one thing it wouldn't make sense cost wise to do that with items that have expiration dates. And then you have us junkies who know the products too well:) That's just my opinion on the cosmetics. Also the stores are small and generally not a great deal of different products.

HEY! Did anyone else get a surprise $15 off $50 purchase coupon?! It is good from 6/26 - 6/28.
Oh boy...what to spend it on?

Here the damage
MAC Next to nothing powder in medium
MAC 141 brush (from the same collection)
and because it sucks to be an online shopper in Canada i needed to have 65$ to NOT pay shipping so the cheapest thing I found to add to my cart was the pigment sample of Brown blue for 12$ and the freaken code didn't work on it WTF??

Sephora I purchased 4 ABH eyeshadow Venice (OMG this look so beautiful) Rose Gold, Orange Soda and Macaroon
for 250 reward point I add to my cart the farmacy Greenenvy set
So I used the 10$ off and not my 10% because I do not know why but when you purchased 4 ABH eyeshadow you have a discount add automatically and I guess you cannot combined the 10% with it but the 10$ yes. BUT even if my total (minus the discount) I wasn't over 50$ (48$ and some change) for free shipping they still didn't charge me shipping. So that a win, because It would have take me another hour to find something to add to my cart. LOL

They showed me they have ones that are similar but different, and tbh they were not as nice - to me anyway.

No Sephora code for me, but it is just a generic (only works for Rouge or VIB, not sure which, or maybe both) code, so anyone who did not get it it is AB39JKP45. It was posted on Beautytalk.

My KS outlet is pretty big and it's full of bags and jewelry that she's had on her site up to two years ago but there are some pretty generic looking pieces that I figure are just for the outlet. I used to work for a clothing store outlet and all their pieces were specifically made for them.

I'm gonna sit this one out when it comes to the code. I have other things to do right now. Adulting hurts.

I need help regarding the NARS eyeshadow primer. Is it possible that it can go bad within several months? I've had mine for less than 6 months and it now causes creasing every time I use it. Never had this issue before with this primer so I'm pretty bummed as I've tried many and have a hard time finding one that really works. Any other primer suggestions while I still have my coupon? Already tried UD (all variations, TF (all variations), MAC paint pots and regular primer, and NYX (regular and glitter glue). I remember trying Smashbox but don't remember if it worked or not so maybe I'll get that one. Eyeshadow primers are so hit or miss for me, it's really frustrating!

I've had mine for like two years and it's still rocking. I hardly wear shadow these days but I did about a week ago and I was shocked that it still worked.

Thanks. I'm thinking it's just not working for me anymore, although I have left it in my car lately and I live in Phoenix so maybe it's separating or something. It doesn't smell off or anything but it may just be that I need to try a different one. I used it today and my shadow started creasing within 3 hours.

I think I'm going to buy the new MUFE aqua XL color paint and try that as a primer.

Saw that the new MJ eyeshadow palettes are up but the one I want still says coming soon :(

Pretty much this. I have a delux sample size I've used over the past few years, and it's fine. Honestly, I should probably throw it out for hygiene reasons, lol.
