Noooo don't tell me that about the Tatcha primer! lmao I just saw a couple of brown girls on youtube who love it. My skin is so good right now (thank you sunday riley) that I do not want to disrupt that.

That lash shedding is weird but I still cannot stress enough how beautiful they are and the softness and natural sheen of the lashes tells me it's different from the lashes I usually use. It just makes a difference visually.

Some people LOVE that primer & others unfortunately had my experience. I think more like it. I'm like you, I'm afraid to try anything new because my skin is good now. I'll probably get the lashes. I'm still getting a gap between my lash line & the falsies. I need you to put mine on for me lol

Are you using tweezers? That gets them really close for me. Then I use my fingertips and squeeze them together all the way across.

shontay07108, I died reading your comment about people acting like they could walk through you! Seems to be the new trend these days.
4 people will walk side-by-side down the sidewalk and then act like I'm the acehole when we're at an impasse. Should I fall into traffic?!

Right??? It drives me insane whether it's indoors or out, kids or adults. People really walk around like they own all the space and they have zero manners. One day I'm gonna lose it.

So true. When I was in Sephora on Friday it was a complete madhouse! It seemed that everyone was on their phone looking up product info. It was close quarters so I could understand accidentally being bumped into. What I have zero tolerance for is people trying to run me over in a mad dash to get makeup! I just stand my ground until they say the magic words ‘excuse me’. Same thing on the street, if I’m walking on the right side, I don’t move and I don’t really care when I get the side eye when they bump in to me. If you’re too busy looking at your phone, not paying attention, etc then too bad so sad.

Yes! Manners have gone out the window. (At least at major shopping areas where I live, lately.) People never say excuse me or hold the door for someone. Forget simple small talk and pleasantries. It’s pretty sad.

Where's Haven...I want to know what all you got :p:rofl:

Hi! So far I have placed one online order and been in store once. Online order went smoothly and shipped right away - three rouge g lippies plus new fancy cases for each. I ordered 62, 41 and 6. Really looking forward to getting these next week.

Went to my nearest Sephora and my in store experience was just as horrid as last November’s sale. I don’t plan on going to this location again. Let’s just say that the cashier once again (though a different woman than last time) gave me the runaround about using the discount code claiming that I could only use it once, etc. Basically accused me of trying to pull a fast one by ordering online with the code and then trying to use it again in store. This time I stood up for myself, spoke to a manager, and got the discount. This was after arguing with the cashier for a few minutes. I think that this location is trying to not honor the discount. I have not had this experience at any other Sephora location.

Anyway I ended up getting some Sunday Riley, hourglass primer and foundation stick, Chloe perfume, Marc Jacobs gloss set (for part of a gift), and NARS Vence lip liner.

I am still thinking about the tatcha primer, Juno face oil, viseart siren, viseart ablaze and some more rouge g lippies. I have heard good and bad things about the primer.

In the grocery store I let people walk right into my cart instead of darting out of the way when I see them coming down the aisle at me paying attention to nothing but their phone.

I cannot believe you got treated like this again! I don't get them trying to weasel out of the discount...everyone knows about it. Nice haul though  I got #6 as well. I should also pick out something in the red/coral range too.

I don’t get it either. When it happened last time, I assumed that it was an isolated thing due to the ignorance of the cashier. Since it happened again, however, it seems more deliberate to me. Fortunately there are Sephoras all over So Cal.

I am really debating about the tatcha primer. I read that it broke you out.

I am a sucker for a good coral lipstick. Hopefully it is not too bright. Fingers crossed!

So strange. I would think they would be happy people could shop as much as they want and that people would come in store as that would help their store totals for the day.

Well, I placed an order Friday and just tried to make an in store purchase. No dice. I wanted a large perfume and the store did not have it even though store search said they did. Several stores were listed as having it but I didn't want to waste any more trips. I guess I will make another order.

So it's the end of the first sale weekend. I made two instore visits and placed one order online. I swore I wasn't getting anything but we all know that was a lie. I ended up with...
1. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Chocolate Geode. I have a weakness and clearly, highlighters are part of the problem.
2. Hude Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette in Mauve. 1st Huda Beauty item,
3. UD x Kristen Leanne Vice Lipstick in Spellbound
4. PM Sublime Palette in Bronze Ambition. I just gave up my Naked Palette and this seems like a great replacement. Can't wait to use it.

I decided to stop by Sephora yesterday after to work to see what I could get my hands on and the experience was annoying with every employee asking if I was OK with every turn I took and customers just bumping into me like they could walk through me. Anyway, I had placed an order earlier for the new Becca highlighter Dreamsicle and the Lily Lashes in Paris, but I wanted to see that Milk Makeup Watermelon stick in person before buying. They had a mini milk set that included the stick, but I really just wanted it by itself. Unfortunately it hadn't arrived in shipment (I asked 2 employees b/c the first one seemed overwhelmed). Playing with the tester of the mini it seemed interesting enough so I ordered it and got the hell out of that store.

My order of the Becca highlighter and Lily lashes came today and that highlighter is beautiful. Not like I needed another but whatever. Ever since I started using Ardell lashes I told myself I never needed expensive lashes again, but it's kinda nice to splurge again. I already had another pair of Lily lashes in Miami and they are dramatic and surprisingly easy to put on. However, they do shed. I lose like one lash each time I put them on or take them off. They are supposed to last for 25 wears, but we'll see about that. They are beautiful, though.

I'm trying sooo hard not to get another big Pat McGrath palette and just wait for the fall sale. That Tatcha primer keeps dancing in front of me, but something tells me it won't be my kinda thing. I'm probably done until the next round.
I'm dying to see that Becca Highlighter on you!
