120 Pro Palette troubleshooting

Basically I brought this Manly 120 pro palette from ebay six months ago and its quite good.
Not going to complain its very good.
However, my main problem seems to be with the matte colours, mainly oranges and yellows.
Where the pigmentation is fairly low or wipes off when I'm trying to blend.
Which at first I accepted cos most matte colours are harder to work with compared to shimmers right?!
However, when I see otherpeople recreate this amazing, full colours intense make-up look using matte colours from the same palette that I own... I beginning to wonder, whether I have a dodgy palette or maybe my brushes aren't picking up the colour...
Any assistance or guidance or advice would be lovely :)

Get NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. It's an excellent base to bring out not-so-pigmented colours. :) (I know you can get NYX in the UK; I just can't remember who sells it.)

I like the NYX jumbo pencil idea, as that's what I typically do. You can also try using the colours wet or applying a cream primer. Any primer from a pot instead of a tube should hold up enough.
