This is my first post ever on Specktra!!! Go me!
I have been collecting MAC since 2001. I have primarily been a student during that time, consequently I have gaps of time between my spending sprees due to destitution and lack of time. However, there were plenty of times I was willing to eat Ramen Noodles all month in order to look fierce! Here is a list of my FAVORITE, Can't-Live-Without e/s (in no particular order...these are like my children afterall):
1. Chill (I am very fair and this is my go-to highlighter)
2. Carbon (It is a staple, I actually own it in the large e/s size that MAC DCd)
3. Goldbit (This with mascara & some lipgloss is my 1 minute face)
4. Shimmermoss (So gorgeous!!! I find myself wishing I could wear it over my whole face like foundation. Instead, I often use it to highlight the inner corner of my bottom lashline.)
5. Vex (I heard some people do not like Vex?!?! I think it is the most innovative use of duochrome with color. It makes a polished day look with Blackberry in the crease and Signed, Sealed as liner...they really bring out that lavender duochrome, and on me this eye looks fantastic with all my work clothes)
6. Blackberry (See above)
7. Signed, Sealed (See above & this is an awesome crease for a smokey eye)
8. Parrot (Oh turquoise/blues/greens how you tug at my heartstrings! Yet another e/s I am looking to turn into foundation)
9. Phoolf! (Upper & Lower inner corner of the eye...best cure for the bright-eyed look on the drowsiest of mornings)
10. Grain (This on the lid, Espresso in the crease, Chill as the highlighter [see #1], and Carbon as the liner [see #2] = my very first MAC makeover and I still use them to this day! Loves it!)
11. Espresso (Such a hardworker...crease, liner, lid, etc. Espresso's work is never done in my traincase)
12. Aquavert (Would it be wrong to love an e/s extra because it comes in a turquoise package?...I knew you guys would understand!

13. Surreal (Lives up to its name, works when I am feeling green, blue, or turquoise not sure how, but I believe the formula contains the same stuff that a mood ring is made of...)
14. Pink Freeze (So good someone actually STOLE it from me...I'm not even lying! Yet another justification I used in order to legitimize my purchase of the MAC 1.6 Traincase THAT COMES WITH A HANDY LOCK!)
15. Climate Blue (Is it violet? Is it blue? NO! It's Fierce! A truly unique shade that can live in harmony with my blue and purple babies.)
These e/s see heavy rotation during my week, as I no longer follow the rules that claim there is "day" and "night" makeup. PISH! It's turquoise at my 9:00 a.m. meeting and since I am already going to the trouble--I see no need to deprive my lips either. Bold eye is calling he wants to know why bold lip cannot come out and play, too.
All Races, All Sexes, All Ages...and All Levels of Tacky...maybe one day they will add this one in honor of me--a girl can dream, right?

3. Humid (frost) (beautiful green)
4. Bio- Green (Pro) (Frost - clean green)
5. Bright Sunshine (pro) (Frost - clean yellow)
6. Woodwinked (Veluxe Pearl - a gold that looks good on almost everyone)
7. Bronze (frost - well... it's a perfect bronze)
8. Shroom or Dazzlelight (Frost & Veluxe Pearl respectively - both neutral highlighters)
9. Goldmine (Frost - yellow gold)
10. Expensive Pink (Veluxe Pearl - peachy pink)
11. All That Glitters (Veluxe Pearl - tan-ish champagne?)
12. Vanilla (Velvet - i would describe it as a 'warm' white as opposed to a stark blue based white)
13 - 15? I can't really comment on Blues, Purples & Pinks
