I went to the zoo the other day with two friends before they go away to uni (I'm staying for a gap year, so I can earn some money before I go away), and I'd forgotten how much I LOVE it!
I seriously had so much fun. AND AND AND they have a baby giraffe called Niamh! I share my name with a baby giraffe!
We were only there for two seconds, when I realised that my (VERY) cheap shoes had a massive hole in the sole at the bottom (how I'd not noticed this before, I do not know), so I had to go to reception and ask them for tape, so I could try and tape up the hole. It worked though.
ANYHOW. Enough of me talking shite.
1st FOTD = Dead boring.
This was the other night, and I was just going the pub, so I wanted to play with my new Pro pigments (I bought Marine Ultra and Rich Purple). I decided on Marine Ultra, and I messed it up SO many times. I'm never one to restart make-up if it goes wrong-usually you can just work round it, and improve it, but because it's a matte pigment, I just had NO idea how to make it work! I ended up re-doing my make-up FOUR TIMES. I NEVER HAVE TO RESTART MAKE-UP!
I think I'd got myself into a narky mindset after I had to wipe it off the first time, and so I just kept messing up more and more. I was in such a mood by the fourth time, I just decided to do simple eyeliner instead. AND THEN I SOMEHOW MANAGED TO MESS THAT UP TOO! I have no idea how.
So, fifth time lucky, as they say. And I'm looking really pissed off in the pictures...but that's because I WAS really pissed off. Haha.

Eyes
UDPP
Light dusting of Brule e/s
Blacktrack fluidline
Clinique high definition mascara
Feline e/l
Carbon e/s to set on the waterline
A TINY amount of vanilla pigment, just to brighten up my tear-duct area.
(that's a long list considering how bare it is!)
Face
Studio Fix Fluid, NC15
Pressed powder, NW5
Bobbi Brown shimmerbrick-Apricot
Vanilla pigment
(I was going for the shimmery look, hah)
Lips
Syrup l/s
A little bit of Vanilla pigment patted on the bottom lip. It looks very frosty in the pictures. I put a clear gloss over it after taking the photos, and the frostiness went away.
(The eyeliner isn't winged, that's my eyelash, getting in the way).
2nd Look = Facepaints!
Yep, facepainting is for children, etc etc etc. But when we passed the little facepainting building, we just couldn't resist. We were queued up behind a toddler and a 5 year old. And getting the bus and then two trains home was interesting. People clearly didn't appreciate our facepaints. Pffft.
Used
I have no idea.
Glitter!
3rd Look = what I'm wearing right now.
Meant to be going out with an ex tonight, but he cancelled, of course. So I spent all that time getting ready for NOTHING. Well...he cancelled as I was about half-way through my make-up, so I decided to finish it off anyway, and also finish off my hair.
Haven't worn my hair straigh for MONTHS because my layers have grown out loads, so it just looks rubbish. I put in a tonne of rollers though (as you can see from the pictures) and it seemed to turn out okay! I quite like it anyway.

And here's my hair straightened:
(It only took about ten minutes, which is why it clearly isn't very thorough)
OKAY. Sorry for ALL the talking and all of the pictures. I went a bit overboard today I think. Oh well.
Constructive criticism is, as always, greatly appreciated!
