A Sheer Red Lip Color

Okay, so I'm heading to my MAC counter (maybe a freestanding store) tomorrow and I'm looking for a sheer red color to buy. It doesn't really matter if it is a lipstick, lipglass, lustreglass, or lipgelee. I love them all. Just for reference, I don't wear MAC foundation, but in BE I wear Medium (3), dark brown hair, and hazel eyes. Thanks so much for the help, in advance.

I too am seeking the right sheer red. For me right now it's moistly lipgelee with a hint of red lipliner. I tried the red lipgelee, and it looked too pink on my lips, moistly comes out a sheer deep red on me.

I actually have moistly and it comes out more plum like on me, but I will definitely try it with a red liner to try to bring out more of the red tones on me. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yup. I find using an earthier red works the best for me, but that may vary with you.

Maybe the red lipgelee will work for you then, if they seem to run true-to-tube-color on you.
