A weird sort of question...

When you freelance for MAC, say for events and such, do they pay you in cash at each event or a check? I'm wondering because I'm looking to start "marketing myself" again as a freelancer around here, and I would love to apply there to see if there's someway to just do the events (not technically allowed to work in Canada- I'll explain it more if you really want to know).

Thanks! Told you it was a weird one... :p

Are you a freelancer for MAC now? I know MAC freelancers are freelancers but "work" for MAC meaning you know, when someone calls out sick they go in if they need extra help. MAC puts their freelancers on payroll so they give you a check for the day(s) you worked, not cash.

It wasn't for MAC, but it was for an EL line (Stila) when I freelance for them I ask them to pay me in product. I didn't want to go through the application/payroll process. Maybe that could be an option for you if the "paperwork" side of things doesn't interest you?
