Adding an image to a signature

I feel really stupid because I have never been able to figure out how to post an image before. I am trying to add an image to my signature and I hit insert image write the file name and it still doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Can you post an example of what code/text you are trying to do so I can give you further direction based off that?

so you are using

(without spaces) and it's not working? Where do you have your images uploaded to? The specktra.net gallery will automatically give you the code needed to insert an image into you post/signature if you upload your pics there.
