amateur photo shoot

I needed some headshots recently to go with a profile of me that was being made and my friend sweetly obliged to help me with his dslr. It was sooo difficult to shoot because it was the day all the fires started and it was extremely windy. I think these pictures were probably shot 2 hours before the big Santiago fire started in Orange County. Anyway, the other thing about these pictures is that I did my makeup myself! Yay! I think it's still sloppy but I feel I'm improving from the tips I've learned from this forum . I was trying to go for a "natural look" but slightly more heavy handed since the camera takes off some of the m/u. Take a look and any c/c and advise is greatly appreciated!



I especially like this last one. I call it my superhero chuckling pose

P.S. - Sorry I don't really have any close up shots to show people. If I was smarter I'd have had him take a couple for people to see =P
