An attempt at orange & pink - but didn't come out so well

I tried. I even went and got MAC to let me have a sample of the red paint she used as the base only I don't have the correct pigments so I just threw stuff together. It's sad really because on camera the colors don't show up nearly as well as they do in person it actually does not look so bad then I went to look at the pix and was all sad

I used.....

The red paint from MAC not sure what it's name is.
Te-Te-A Tint
Shroom
Hepcat
UD Last Call
Random Orange/Brown color I had around
I can't think of the rest

And on a totally off note I'm re-coloring my hair and since most replies are more about my hair than about my makeup *which is ok I find it rather amusing actually* any suggestions on what color I should go for next???

hahahah I have no clue but you just made me giggle a lot but not in a bad way. I've been up since my little one woke up in the middle of the night so since I can't sleep I'm playing with makeup.....wweeee

I'm so bored I've gotten out my old wigs heh....

Actually I just went from purple chunks about 4 months ago then dyed it black and then did the teal/aqua/pink/red thing

I'm thinking about just putting pink on the ends of the teal and make the teal more deep

Kinda funny how I'm sssoooo good with coloring hair but can't seem to get my eyes the way I like heh

I really find that what makes orange stand out is an orangish base. I have Flammable paint and it doesn't do the trick for me when I use my orange shadows (unless it's orange and red).

I have this Revlon cream shadows that I use as bases it's a quad that comes in silver, yellow, tan, orangeish I may try to use that and see what happens.

Thanks for the advice!
