An FOTD.. and wondering about photo taking..

I've posted a couple of times. Still trying to learn in this makeup world. Here's my look today.. but the colors look a lot richer/deeper in person. I wonder how you ladies taking photos without color being washed out too much?

Pretty!
As for photo taking, I'm no expert but general tips are make sure your macro function is on and try to take your pictures in natural light without flash.

Pretty !
And taking photographs from your own face is very difficult.
In real it always looks different than on the picture.

Thank you so much for the link!! Well.. based on what I read, I did have the natural light - an early afternoon; did have the simple background... does that leave me the only option that I need a BETTER camera?

I think you did a really good job with the camera. Your pictures have great clarity and the colours seem to be true.
