So these pictures were taken with my trusty web cam and edited slightly in Photoshop to help out with the blandness and color inaccuracy... it kinda worked. xD
Hopefully, I'll have a working digicam that wants to get along with me soon.

Hehe, thanks!
The piercing is called a vertical labret, and it just goes straight through your lip. Your dentist will love it opposed to a normal lip piercing since it can't do any damage to your teeth or gums, haha. It doesn't seem to common, at least not around here, so that in itself is kinda nice. :]
