Another different pigment sighting...

Quick question - my friend gave me a full jar of Old Matte Pink Pigment. (She never used it!! :eek2: )
Anyways, I've never seen this before - There is a sticker on the bottom that says Pink - but the batch number is actually stamped onto the jar. Which, btw, says AB2.
Is this a real or fake pigment??
I actually do think it's real - but I'm stupid sometimes!

So I can't believe everything I think all the time!!

That looks genuine and would be from November 2002. Older M·A·C products had batch numbers inkdot printed onto the plastic container directly just like that.
