you had to put 100$ in advance correct? well i did, and i ended up not being able to go (i know very sad.. but whatever)... i was TOLD that i get a full refund if i didnt wanna buy anything... but when i went there to get my $$ back they told me that i can only have 50 back adn the other 50 i needed to spend on makeup..

is this bullshit? thanks

Well I only had to put $50 up in advance and mine was able to be redeemed for product. I ended up going over so I didnt mind but if you didnt even get to go and if you dont need anything from MAC I would try to get my money back also maybe try calling nordstrom corp. I recently had a problem with nordstrom store and the corp. # got me hooked up w. the head cosmetics manager for my location and they were soooo nice after that. It's worth a try or maybe just wait for the new collections and use your $50 then. Hope this helps! Sorry you couldnt make the event!
