I just got back from my store's event and I have my notes on everything. It was super fun. My friend that I took was so shocked that so many MA"s there knew me.

I bought quite a bit and will likely be returning for more. But the lippies and duos are amazing. And do not miss out on the new fluidline Uppity. It really makes your eyes pop.

Tonights Haul
Antiquitease Lipstick
Corsette Lipglass
Majestic Lipglass
Uppity Fluidline
Sweet Sienna Pigment
Goldstroke Pigment
Your Ladyship
Silversmith Mineralize
Engaging Mineralize
Earthly Riches Mineralize

I'm probably going to also get Queen's Sin, Family Silver, Mi Lady, and Gold Veneer. But be sure to check the collection out. It is breathtaking in every way.

What's even more stylish than the Antiquitease Color collection? the launch event in Las Vegas maybe.

Today I came across these pictures from the launch event in LV's Caesar's Palace store. I only posted two pictures here (to get everyone interested). You can find all of them on :

I don't think we have MAC Events in Belgium yet, but judging from the fun people are having on the pictures, I hope they start following Caesar's example.

Silversmith could be duped possibly with flashtrack and moon's reflection. I haven't had a chance to compare them next to each other. But those are the colors that jumped to my mind. That being said, i still bought silversmith.

For earthly riches, mauvement pigment or shale could be similar to the pale color. I'm not sure about the permanent line, but the darker color made me think of fertile from strange hybrid. Except fertile isn't as metallicish.

Uppity and Brassy are also similar. But Brassy really takes a more orange tint when put next to uppity. but they do look beautiful together.

But the hot items last night that took me forever to get ahold of because everyone wanted to try them were silversmith, uppity, engaging, and the pigments. Silversmith in particular was getting lots of attention. So keep that in mind when wavering on decision!

I'm not feeling all of this collection, but I'm definitely excited to go to Update where I can get some from the NY Pro store!

Of course, the batteries are dead in my camera, so I can't take pics, but I am wearing my Silversmith duo today and it is amazing!

I have blue eyes and paired with this eyeshadow duo, they just POP! I added a tiny bit of Freshwater, highlighted with Your Ladyship Pigment, and got more compliments today then I ever have before. I might just need a backup of this one!

My friend got the purple/grey one, and the purple is like a duller Nocturnelle, not sure on the grey. (and by 'duller' I dont mean bad/boring, just not as vibrant!) Hope that helps!

You really helped me!!!! Because I wanted to get both Silversmith and the purple/grey one, but I got Prussian e/s recently so I won't be needing Silversmith and I wanted to buy Nocturnelle too so I'll pass the purple/grey one and get Nocturnelle e/s

OK, I'm just wondering if I should get excited about the MES or not. I'm pretty new to this so I don't have any mineralized eye shadows - what do people think of these? Obviously it's mixed, but how do they wear relative to regular shadows? Which of the duos from this collection would people use for purposes other than eye shadow? Thanks in advance!

Normally, I don't get excited about MES. These seem to be better quality than those that were released in the summertime. The lasting power on these isn't great without a base, but I have been wearing one for 12 hours today with paint underneath, and although it has faded a little bit, it's worn very well. As far as using them for purposes other than shadow, the pink shade in the pink/amber duo could possibly be used as a cheek highlight. Most of the other colors I can't see anywhere but the eyes. HTH!

There is glitter, but it doesn't seem to be as chunky of a glitter as the Flashtronic ones. With the flashtronic ones, they seemed to crumble as you ran your brush across them and they were really flakey. These don't seem to be that way. I didn't have the glitter all over my cheeks like with the previous MES, but there IS glitter. I passed on all the Amuse MES, and only kept 2 from Flashtronic, I returned the rest. I got 2 of the Antiquitease ones last night and want to go back for the other ones I didn't get. HTH!

Is it just me, or does the pink/gold MES look like it could be a dupe of Petticoat? At least the pink color. I hope so...

These MES are much creamier in texture than the Flashtronic ones. But they are lovely. I used the painterly paint pot as a base under Engaging today. The color did fade a bit, but since I put it on at 8am this morning, and didn't check until 11:30p. The color was still there enough not to bother me. But I definitely recommend these over the palettes. I was pretty disappointed in the palettes.

I will be going to my f/s event on Friday for this collection... can't wait! My wishlist is extremely long &became even longer after seeing some of the swatches. All of the colors look very complimentary... also I was very anti-MES after the Flashtronic MES didn't do much for me, but seeing these makes me change my mind a bit. The red side of Mi'Lady looks like the kind of red I've been lemming for quite some time!

And the looks up on maccosmetics.com are all gorgeous! Check them out!
