Yeah, the only place that sells MAC is Dillard's in the Belair Mall located in Mobile. I was hoping we would get a MAC at the new mall in Malbis, but we didn't. I like going to the MAC counter at the Dillard's in Pensacola instead of the one in Mobile. They are so much nicer there and so much more fun! I'm probably going to head there this weekend.
I live in Fairhope, and work for a Dentist in Daphne.

sucks. ive never been to the one in pensacola. id go tmw but i dont know if i wanna drive all the way out there. i might go to mobile tho. i cant decide if i want to buy these $90 shoes, or buy mac hahahah

I work for Dr. Parsons. Dr. Northcutt started out with Dr. Parsons when he first went into practice, and then his wife opened up a practice and he went into dentistry with her. I've worked for Dr. Parsons since January 1991. Whoa! Typing that out made me realize thats along time i've been at the same job.
I know what you mean about weather to buy shoes or buy MAC. There are 3 major addictions I have and thats....MAC....Shoes....Purses! LOL I'm a sucker for them!

Wow! It is a small world! I might know you since i've worked there that long. I work the front desk, and everybody at the office laughs at me because I NEVER forget a patient! Even if they haven't been in the office for several years, I remember them. Of course its hard sometimes when its a child and they are all grown up and look different.
Just yesterday I was talking with a patient who use to live in New York and moved here. She was telling me that women literally go bankrupt or max out credit cards because of all the shopping they do. She said its so hard to resist buying all the nice things. She use to walk to work and home and couldn't resist stopping in all the boutiques on the way and buy something. LOL I told her I wouldn't last if I lived in New York. I have a bad enough shopping habit just living here in little ol' Fairhope, Alabama! LMAO I would definitely go broke if I lived in New York! I would probably be living out on the streets with as much shopping I like to do! LOL As a matter of fact, i'm heading out now to go shopping. I decided to go to Mobile instead of Pensacola. I know several things I want to buy at the MAC counter soooooooo MAC Here I Come!!!!

hahah i'm jealous, i wish i could go out and go to MAC tonight! i'm only home for spring break & my little brother has baseball games tonight so i'm going to that. i love to see him play so it's ok but yeah, shopping. have fun!! i'm dying for some of the culturebloom stuff, esp. spring up and overgrown and the blush, and i really want some lustreglasses, and i have testers of prep&prime face and studio fix but i need fullsizes.. oh man.. this is such a bad addiction O__O
its hard going to NYC, you really do go crazy wandering around all the cute stores. inevitably, i end up with something every time :x usually i don't get RIDICULOUS, but still. last time i went to anthropologie and got this GORGEOUS $130 dress. i love the damn thing but when i get home i'm like, AGHK, i have a $2,000 credit card bill, THIS IS SUCH A BAD IDEA, ahha. but you really do have trouble resisting :/ i figure i'm not as bad as some people, but its haarrdd.
if you were there when i came in, i would have been like, 10, with long blonde hair, haha, and that may have been before i got braces. i basically stopped going to the dentist after i got braces (the mcduffies), since they did everything for me, except cleaning once in a blue moon. god that was so long ago. i'm sooo glad i don't have braces anymore, haha. although they want to put a few more back in cause this one tooth has kinda moved. GRR.

I love Dr. McDuffie. He is so sweet. Dr. Glass is an orthodontist and is nice eye candy to look at when your lying back in the chair....LOL

I never made it to Mobile today. So I am going to attempt to go tomorrow. I think I am going to start off the morning and head to the Arts and Crafts Festival, and then go to Mobile. My list for MAC stuff is getting longer and longer.

dr. mcduffie is a doll, and so is his wife. i love them because they dont use the nasty metal bands on the back braces, just spacers <3 it doesnt hurt HALF as bad that way.. bless them!

i'm thinking about heading over to the MAC store tmw as well. i was gonna go down to the festival today, but i stayed home to get some work done (hahahah) and i don't know how much time i have tomorrow. it doesnt open till 10, and i have to be in bay minette around 1 for (even more) baseball games. the dillards/MAC opens at 10 also, and its an hour-ish to bay minette, so i need to leave around 12. so i don't have time to do both. i love the a&c fest but i can never buy anything, since i dont really have a house to decorate or anything yet. so instead i end up eating funnel cake and chicken on a stick, which, while delicious, not so good for the figure :/ so whatever.
my MAC wishlist is totally growing, too. i really want overgrown and spring up from culturebloom.. the new blush looks great as well. i want another lipstick or two and some lustreglasses/lipglasses. i really need to go to a store for those. i can kinda get the idea of e/s from swatches posted on here but lipcolor is so hit and miss for me that i really just have to go stand there and like, try them ALL lol. i hope the store has culturebloom stuff still. although i kinda dont cause maybe then i wont buy anything :O i also want fullsize prep&prime face and studio fix liquid, but maybe i can just get them to give me a second sample, hahahah. I did get some stuff. Man was it crowded! I had to wait forever for an MA to help me. Of course they kept telling me they were sorry and would be with me as soon as possible. I told them I understood and waited patiently. I didn't get everything I wanted because they were so busy. It's probably for the best. I'm sure my bank account says "Thank You!" I signed up for the Technique Class they are having on 3/31 and 4/1. I am so excited and can't wait! The girl told me we get some goodies when we get there for the class.
I went out to the outlet mall to see if the CCO had any good MAC products, and they didn't have anything! They never do when I go. I guess you have to hit it at just the right time. I want to go to the one in Destin to see what they have.

i didn't know foley outlets had a cco! it doesnt list it on the website. damn. well, i couldnt have made it down there this time anyway. i fly out tmw.. booo. don't wanna go back!
they were pretty busy when i was there, too. the black girl with the curly ponytail was doing prom makeup for a REALLY cute girl, she did a gorgeous smokey natural eye with plumage, because she had this exactly plumage-color dress, it was great. i just hung around and swatched basically EVERYTHING lol until i was ready to buy

No, it's not just a pro store event. It's an event that some of the stores are having. I don't know which ones are offering it. They told me about it today, so I am taking adavantage of it!
Bad News....I have to go back to the mall tomorrow. I forgot to buy a new scrub jacket for work. I seriously need a new one. Mine has had it and I promised I would have a new one for work on Monday. Good News....Hopefully they won't be so busy and I can get the rest of the stuff I wanted.

I'm starting school on March 27th to be an Esthetician (skin care specialist. everybody always ask me what that is) After I finish, i'm going to apply for a pro card.
Don't you leave today to go back to NY? If so, have a safe trip, and i'm sure I will be chatting with you on here.

I'm in Alabama at the moment, but I'm in NA in Hunstville visiting my fam for a week. Normally I live in Chicago. The only place even remotely near here that sells MAC is Parisian in the new Park Place mall. I went there to get Sweetie Cake because Chicago is all sold out of it. hehe. I also got TWO lustrewhites there! which i'm SUPER excited about because it's been discontinued.
