application methods for face highlighters?

Hi all! This question is geared more toward creamy based highlighters, but any replies will do. Do you use fingers? Brushes? Which brushes? Over or under blushes?

I like to use my #187 brush for almost every application on my cheeks! It's amazing!

For creamy highlighters I use my finger or the #192. It goes on more sheer when I use the brush. I usually either dot it along my cheek over my blush.

Fingers. The heat from your fingers is going to help a cream product move better, and you're going to get a smoother blend-out that way.
