Asian skin + pigmented lipcolour?

Hi everybody, I've got Asian skintones (i.e. relatively fair with yellow undertones) and I'm thinking about going with either nude or red lipcolour.

If I want a pigmented colour, should I use a gloss or a lipstick with gloss over it?

Does anybody have any good recommendations in regards to brand/shade?

I have fairly pigmented lips, and if I want to really really hide it with a nude lipstick and it's not working so hot, I use Benefit's lip primer which is like a lip concealer and it works great.

Right now I use Creme d' Nude as my nude lipstick though, and it actually covers up my lips really well. I love the Creamsheen formula!
