Authentic YSL Gloss?

Hey everyone, so I got this golden gloss off ebay a few years ago and really wonder about it. The packaging looks legit as far as I can tell, but the product itself has a chemical scent so I never use it. What do you think? Fake or just old?

If that's a fake, it's a really good fake. My guess would be that it's just past its prime.

Do you know how YSL batch codes work? Perhaps I can tell how old it is that way.

You said you got it of ebay few years ago so you already own it for few yers.

I personally would not use a gloss older than 2-3 years.

If I remember correctly it smelled like chemicals when I received it. But I have no idea how old it is since I purchased it third party.
