Beauty marked

Green Eyes

I bought this ES and it looks so pretty in the pot. I have green eyes and I thought this color would make them stand out, but when I apply it, it comes out looking BLACK! Can anyone give me any advice to keep the purplish-shimmery-reddish tint. Woudl this work for the smokey look? PIctures of anyone wearing it and how they applied it would be super. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

The red shimmer will be more visible if you apply it wet. an e/s that has the color of the shimmer is plum dressing. maybe look at that one in a store.

Beauty marked looks great over blurberry shadestick. It totally makes the burgandy colour stand out.

For a smokey look I like to use a plain black eyeshadow and apply Beauty Marked wet over it. I get a dramatic black with lots of burgandy shimmer and shine opposed to a choppy charcoal black.

a MA gave me a great tip: take prunella eyeliner along the lash line and then use one of those eyeliner brushes (don't know the technical name or # for it) an go over the eyeline with the beauty marked, the prunella brings out the color and sparkles.

This is how I use Beauty Marked:
I pack it on my lid and maybe a little higher, then in the crease I use Plum Dressing and for a highlight I use Pink Opal pigment. It's a very dramatic look but it's really pretty. I'm sure if you didn't have Plum Dressing you could use another shimmery plum and if you don't ahve the pigment , any other light colored highlight would work. Hope this helps!
