Beauty Powder?

Sorry for the dumb question....but


I saw on the MAC website that both Barbie loves Mac and the Raquel Welch LE collections have beauty powder. What's it used for? Does it provide as much color as a blush or ligher? And, which color do you like best for medium tan, warm/yellow undertones? (Peaceful, Yogamode and Pearl Sunshine)

I have Pearl Sunshine, and I'm an NW20 (C2 in Alima). I just kinda dust it over my cheekbones and forehead a bit to warm up my face a little.
