I was thinking of doing steamy and black tied for my eyes for Prom. This is my dress:

Do you think the eyeshadow scheme would complement the dress? If not is there some other colors that you can recommend for a really dramatic look.

Also I was told if I was going to be wearing gloves, then I should have an updo, but I was going to curl my hair. Would that be fine with the gloves.

I think Steamy/Black tied would look gorgeous with that dress. It'd be very vixen-esque. Gloves can look good whether your hair is up or down so don't worry about that.
