Beginner's first FOTD and SMOKEY EYE!!!

Hi everyone,

First of all let me just give a little info about my makeup skills. Basically I have none. I started barely wearing eye shadow like 6 months ago and eyeliner about a month ago. I usually just wear pressed powder and a lip glass.

As far as the smokey eye goes, I think I did it right. I don't know. I welcome all feedback... I'm just learning. Also, I was wondering if the covergirl Lash Exact Mascara is any good.

Shadow:
MAC - Black Tied
MAC - Silver Ring

Liner:
Bobbi Brown - Gel Eyeliner in Graphite Shimmer Ink

Mascara:
MAC - Fibre Rich Lash in All Black

I think you did a lovely smokey eye! Probably the only thing I would do different is use a little more of a mid tone color in your crease, but either way you are a hottie

Ok, I used the black tied in the crease. Should I have applied this color a little heavier to make it appear darker, or should I apply a different color in the crease and the black tied somewhere else? As you ca see I'm really struggling with this makeup thing. I really appreciate the help!

Aww! Welcome to Specktra! You so remind me of myself. My blending was atrocious (sp?) when I first started, its slowly but surely getting better

It looks good, Just a little heavier application of the Black Tied. If you use a base it will show up better as well. dont forget your highlighter shade, its really wierd how sometimes I cant see other colors until I have my highlight shade on (thats why I do it first).
Good stuff though, keep trying!

**Oh and Cover Girl Lash Extract is aight its not a rave product for me...Im thinking of getting Benefit Bad Gal Lash Next...
