best eyeshadows for a smokey eye

i want to buy some eyeshadows for a smokey look. which shadows should i get?

Hmmm...I'd say the best smokey-eye e/s are Carbon and Moth Brown, since they're so versatile. But if you want to have different colors, for a green smokey eye I like to use Humid and Greensmoke, and for with purples, Beauty Marked does the trick. I hope that helped!

I also like to use Bronze for a smokey eye - I'm quite fair with blue eyes and this colour doesn't look too harsh against my pale skin but brings out the blue very nicely.

You could always do Black Tied which is kind of a standard smokey eye shadow.
