Studio Finish is too thick if you have dry skin. I use Select Cover-Up for my undereye area, it blends very well.

I think it also depends on how you apply the concealer...using just my fingers doesn't really work for me with Studio Finish cos I can't spread it as well as I want to so I us the 188 to apply it and it looks very natural and even (for my undereye).

I use Studio Finish as well and it is far the best concealer I have ever used. (like an idiot I once brought some $40 concealer from Bobbi Brown and just hated it. I went right back to my MAC).Try applying it with a concealer brush under your eye as usual and even a lil on the inner corner of your nose. Then pat it even with your index finger. This finger is the flat and the heat from your finger will help it set better. Then set it with MAC's Pressed Powder. I like using a brush to set it as oppsed to the velour pad it comes with.

I think you may have been experiencing it caking up because you might have been putting to much. Remember, its pretty opaque coverage, so a lil goes a long way. I have bad dark circles, but using Studio Finish, you would never know. Plus it has SPF 15 and Vitamin E, which is great for your skin.

Same here. Much lighter (and better) for the eye area IMO.
