Blending Black Tied

I am having a difficult time blending black tied seamlessly into my crease and outer v... I was wondering if I should be using a special kind of brush, or if anyone has any tips on a technique I could try.

I don't think black tied is the easiest to use on the crease or outer v. It is a velvet texture.. think trax, beauty marked...not the easiest shadows to work with when it comes to blending.

However, I love black tied.. I use it as eyeliner and I pack it on with #242 over blackground paintpot. HTH!

Hmmm I can't recall the name, it's not MAC, I got it at Sephora actually. I try to use a smaller brush because I don't want the black to be overwhelming against my other colors, maybe I should pick up carbon then. But mattes aren't always easy to blend either...

I went to MAC today and purchased Carbon. You're right Kariii, Carbon is a dream to blend. I'm very happy with my new shadow
