Blob on eyelid.. what could it be!

So i have this 'blob' on my eyelid.
Ive had it forever.
Just above the lash line.

Its been a nuisance to get a pic of on my phone camera :)
Here is another shot:

Does anybody know what it is?
It has to be harmless the length of time ive had it - years and years and then some. Its not got bigger in the sun or anything... could it be a mole? If you do know what it is, do you think it could be removed? Never spoken to a doctor about it before - this is my first stages of the 'just wondering' about what to do next.

Thanks

This is probably just a stye and using hot wet cloth is a good idea. Just make sure the water is clean and it is not hot enough to hurt your skin/eye. Put it n for like a 15 minute at a time and a few minutes a day. That will open up the pour and let the infected icky stuff out.

Its not so much a 'spot' - its more like a 'fat freckle' or a really light brown mole. It doesnt hurt to touch or anything, but it does get in the way of eyeliner - which is probably why im so bad at doing it ;p

Hi Cara, i understand. If you are uncomfortable then you need to discuss with a dermatologist who can remove that for you without leaving a significantly noticeable scar behind.
