Blue with amber lights?

So I bought amber lights on my very first trip to MAC, I thought it was so pretty, but I've been having trouble finding what to do with it. It's just too dark on my lid. Today I tried using it as the crease color & it looks ok, but what I think will look really good is to pair it with a blue, like a light blue on the lid & then amber lights in the crease & outer v is what I'm thinking. Do you think that would work well??

what shades of blue (or any others) would you recommend?

That sounds like a nice look.

My friend likes to use Amber Lights with Freshwater. (My school colors are blue and gold, so we're always looking for ways to combine those two colors on game days.)

Lining with Amber Lights is fun. I could see that with a soft light blue shadow wash over lid to brow.
