Before I buy the 187 does anyone think that this brush
might be about as good? Or the Flirt brush that sell at Kohls?

OK - I'm answering my own question. I went over to a friends house with the $6 Flirt "feather dust -her" brush from Kohls. She has the 187. We both did half our faces foundation and blush with the 187 and half with the flirt brush. There was no difference in how the makeup looked, or the ease of application. The 187 is very slightly softer and denser than the Flirt version. When we washed the brushes there was no shedding from either brush and they both dried fine. I'm saving my money and getting a couple of the Flirt brushes!
