Hello guys,
I have worked at a few different make up counters but I'm looking to "break through" get involved in the industry. I want to work with film. I know ill have to start with small projects, and i do have those connections. i just dont want to jump intop something without feeling 100% about my work.

I have been told a lot read books, and practice practice. Look at tutorials And not to pay the money for the classes.
Now to my questions.

How to you feel about this above statement? You agree or disagree?

Can anyone recommend me good reads
Mainly on these subjects:

Special effects how to: scars, wounds, film stuff
Makeup Artist Business- Something that could give advice from the business side.
Airbrushing
theatrical Make-up.

As for classes, if any of you are willing to check out the links to the two i founds in my area. affordable to me.
Tell me what you think!

Any help would be very much appreciated. i'm trying to figure out the best way to get this going as a career.
