Boyfriend's friends?

Hey guys...I'm wondering if your boyfriend/husbands/partners have friends that you don't care for.
Mine does...a lot of his friends are rude or don't acknowledge me when I'm around. But that doesn't even really bother me too much. He has one friend that is a disgusting person, and he's always telling my boyfriend nasty things that he does (with girls, obviously). He also mooches off of everyone, and doesn't seem like a good friend to me. Sometimes this bugs me, but I try to get over it and not make it a big deal.

What about you guys? Do you have any stories to tell about your boyfriend's friends, why you don't like them? Maybe you've gotten into an argument or fight with his friends? I figured this may be a good topic

UGH yes! Girl I feel you! I like about 99.9% of my guy's friends, but some of their wives annoy the shit out of me. It's like they're part of the package and I need to be their BFF. I tried, but they are wierdos. They are the types that need to be up their man's ass and have no life of their own lol.

LOL. There's that one girl that did the whole "I miss you" text. I don't care too much for her friend because she gives me a lot of attitude even when I'm trying to be nice to her, but other than that no. I'm more comfortable around guys anyways, and most are pretty cool so I don't mind.

Yah there's some that act like I'm not even there! So I just ignore them too.. hehe

I know what this is like, and for some reason my boyfriends' friend's girlfriends are the types of girls I would never really choose as friends in my life, and I try to be their friends.. but listening to them speak makes me want to do myself In!

My ex had some friends who, at best, tolerated my presence. Some were outright rude. He never defended me. But hey, whatever, that's why he's an EX, right?

My husband's friends... Eh. I'm not terribly fond of one of his coworkers, but it's not like they are actually friends.

His actual friends, I like. Or I don't know that well, so I don't form an opinion on them.

exactly.. HOW many questions does he have to answer about his freaking car?! were watching a freaking movie! good god, knowing about your carburetor can wait til tomorrow! christ!

And yeah, most of my boyfriends friends can at the least .. Tolerate me being around.

One of his friends told the rest of his friends that I was a huge bitch, so they all got a first impression before they even met me ,judged me beforehand and didn't like me... I slightly get along with that friend now(the one who talked crap), but I make snide remarks about him to his face... he always think im just joking around.. but im not

Anyway, my boyfriend is not from this area so most of his friends are from work. All they talk about is dirtbike riding and work. It bores me to tears to be around. The guys and their wives are polite enough but all of them are older than me, out of school, etc. so we don't have anything in common and they don't try to be BFFs.

I think his friends like me but I'm like 8 years younger than most of them so they probably don't think much of me.

lol. My boyfriend's friends are so immature. We were walking into church one day and his friend is outside and he sees my bf and screams from across the parking lot at my boyfriend. Like, I get it, your friend is funny, and thats great, but he is embarrassing. They have their little inside jokes and thats fine but he makes us look..horrible.

Alot of the time when they see me they won't say anything or they'll just say "hey, so anyways..." Like, with my friends I was always very polite to their boyfriends, and introduced myself and asked them how are you? and try to be nice.

And everytime we're on the phone with eachother, and one of his friends stop by his house, he stops talking to me and makes small talk with his friends. Thats more my boyfriends fault, but whatever.

I hope he doesn't think his friends will be doing this when we get an apartment. They're welcome to come over, but occasionally. And again, I don't even care about these friends as much as I care about his one disgusting ass friend who has sex with every girl, their best friends, his friends girlfriends, and everybody's grandmother (lol j/k but i wouldn't be surprised) he's just a gross person.

Oh Lordy, I am the best one to chat about this topic! The BF has two "best friends" that I cannot stand. They totally take advantage of him (from my POV) and they have a tendency to lecture him (he's 20)! Argh, it aggrevates the HELL out of me.

So, I bring it up to him what I see, and he simply states, "I know, I see it too, but I just take it so I don't have to deal with it".

Last time I checked, he doesn't have to take shit from anyone, let alone his BFs, or be lectured by people younger, and less mature than he is. I understand him not wanting to start anything but COME ON.

*sigh* Anyways, they also don't like me as well. They think I'm trying to control him. Really? I think they are just pissed that I don't take any of their shit like my BF does. Oh well, one more month and that stupid lease is up.

Sorry for the long-ness. I've been frustrated for a while. My best advice - ignore them. It works for me! Your BF is with you for a reason, the friends' should see that and respect it.

One friend of my boyfriend's used to be a friend of mine too; never mind that while we were friends, he was already conducting one-sided conversations with most people (read: stoking his own ego by forcing people to listen to him talk on and on about himself and his opinions) and being very disrespectful of girls/women in general. The last straw that broke the camel's back was when, on one of the numerous occasions that he insisted on hanging out with my boyfriend without me around despite the fact that we were supposed to be friends too, he told my boyfriend all sorts of reasons why we shouldn't be together - those things led to a huge fight and we almost broke up, but obviously we're still together now. But I will not waste my time and energy on people who profess to like me, but just don't have the guts to hate on me to my face.

I still see him around sometimes, like when my boyfriend or other mutual friends have parties or get-togethers, and it really annoys me when, in the midst of his smarmy schmoozing with people who don't know him (or at least not very well), he tries to talk to me in front of everyone and act like we're buddies - that's when I cut him off quick with a sharp, sarcastic remark and leave him looking like a dork! LOL love those moments.

My bf has some friends that I'm not particularly fond of. Thankfully, those ones he's not too close to, but he sees them from time to time. I don't mind if he hangs out with those people, but I don't join in, he can go see them himself or with his other friends. There is one person I've told him is not welcome in our home, and to never bring him there. He respects that so I don't really care I guess.

He has other friends that I like and I will hang out with them all. I think it's important not to be too controlling. If you don't like them, just don't hang out with them, but don't forbid your bf to see them.

I adore my boyfriend's best friend. He's so cool and we all hang out a lot.
A lot of my boyfriend's other friends I don't even know. I know most of his close friends but those two I don't care much for. They're good guys but one is an alcoholic who is in a bad marriage and the other is cool but is really disrespectful to women.

Most of my boyfriend's friends are mine too, because we were all originally one big group. He has other friends outside of that group obviously, but not close ones... So I pretty much love all of his friends who matter to him.

There's just one that I don't like. I don't like his girlfriend either. They just act so stupid and they constantly use my b/f. He's the general manager of Domino's Pizza, so whenever they are in town, they just roll their worthless asses in there and try to act all buddy-buddy when all they want is free food.
I've tried to tell him time & time again his so-called friends just use him for that, but he said he doesn't mind. Well I'm sorry, but I DO. It's like they only show up when they want something. It's not like they want just one pizza or one order of buffalo wings, but like 3 orders and 3 pizzas, it's just too much.

Ok, off my soapbox now

LOL!! My b/f has "friends" that basically just use him too (IMO). They only call when they need something from him and it bothers me a LOT. Him and his friends are all car people so that's all they really talk about but I'm learning a lot about it so I can understand what they're talking about.. But I still can't understand how they can talk about it for HOURS.

Any they say women talk too much.. lol
