Brand/Product Recommendations for "Mature" Women?

Ok friends, so I'm looking for a Christmas present for my mom, who is 51. I want to buy her either some age-appropriate makeup, or skincare products, since my parents are b-r-o-k-e, and she can never afford any nice products. Can anyone recommend any brands for that age range? Something that is not too trendy or crazy, and preferably a brand sold at Sephora. I'm also looking to spend between $50-60, so if you have any recommendations, I'd be forever grateful!

clinique or estee lauder. i always get my mum (simular age to yours) a skin care set from either clinique, estee lauder or dior every year. normally i just ask the girls at the counter if they have any gift sets and what one they recommend for her age group, cos it can get confusing!!! i normally find estee lauder are the most helpful and have the best gift sets.

My Mom wears Mac and Clinique ...she is 60..However I don't see my makeup chaging at 51...It's all in the application....I dont think any particular brand is for any particular age range...IMO
