See i'm nw45 and have a hard time finding a bronzer that has no shimmer or verryyy minimal shimmer in it (even the MAC one is too much shimmer for me) and actually warms/boosts/enhances my complexion. Any recs? I'm totally lost. lol. most bronzers I've tried dont do this. I mean I like the idea of BE warmth but it doesnt do anything for me lol.

I've checked out/tried
NARS casino and laguna (too light)
MAC bronzer (the deepest one) - - too much shimmer
Cargo bronzers (sunk right into my skin) or the medium shimmery one had too much shimmer
The one by Guerlain (tested about 3 times and it just didnt work for me, too light)
Milani-(sunk right into my skin)
and I cant remember any more, lmao

Should I just give up on bronzers? lol. i mean tell me so I can save money! lol

Thanks for your help ladies and gents!

Have you tried the MSF Natural in Deep Dark? I use the Dark as a bronzer (NW40) and really like it. Have you also tried just going with a darker foundation or powder or even liquid? I like to use Hyperreal in NW700. It does have shimmer, as all Hyperreal foundations do, but it can be buffed into the skin to minimize it.

Well, try the MSF in Deep Dark as a bronzer. Use a bronzer brush or other dense brush and apply it. I can use Dark all over my face and originally bought it for that purpose but then a MA showed me that I can use it as a bronzer too.

I'm going to have to veto BE, it isn't flattering on deeper skintones. I'm also NW45 and it was terrible. Anyway, Casino didn't work for you? Have you tried Cargo Dark rather than medium? Are you layering these over a powder (I'm asking because you say they "sink right into your skin"). What about using a blush like Format around to the planes of the face and Sweet as Coco on the cheeks and blended with Blunt for contour? Another option is to use a deeper foundation like aziajs suggested, but you could use a mineral foundation instead. I think that way you can make sure you end up with a natural bronzey glow rather than the look of an bad foundation match. Milan Minerals makes a lot of wearable shades for WoC. Also, I was able to find Stila's bronzer in #3 and it is great as well. Prescriptives' Bronzing Trio is also nice. Hope that helps.

ETA: The Giorgio Armani bronzers look really promising. I think GA is carried at Saks, so if you have one near you, you can actually see it in person. One looks like it could be close to Metal Rock, I sure hope so...

Tarte Mineralized bronzer in Park Avenue Princess is the best bronzer in the word, the perfect shade. It is amazing, check it out.
