Cakey foundation?

I don't know if cakey is the right word really as I'm not very 'make up talk' literate. But anyway, my foundation just looks dry and flaky, even thought my skin isn't really dry. I use revlon colour stay but it happens with all my foundations. I have combo skin. I moisturise twice a day. Any ideas?

Do you set it with powder? A translucent powder can help it stay better and look better.

Like Meisje said, maybe you just need to exfoliate to get rid of the dead skin.

Hi!

You can try the exfoliation or maybe try to apply the foundation a little bit at a time, sometimes depending the foundation if you use too much at a time it can look cakey. The same can happen with the powder, you can try using another one. Also you can try using MAC's fix+ after you are done applying the foundation and powder. HTH
