I have one and I find that my hair doesn't break off as much. It's the same thing with ceramic straitning irons they are so much healthier for your hair. With the ceramic curling iron my hair does feel better and the curls look better than when I was using a normal iron it also has a nice shine to it. I tell everyone they should be using all ceramic styling products. It may cost you a little more but it is soo worth it!
