I usually like Kevin Smith, but I thought he needed to either tone down the jokes or tone down the heartfelt parts. It didn't mesh well to me. I thought he did a much better job of the combination in the first Clerks. I know she was throwaway character, but I also wish they would've developed Dante's fiance better. Again, the original Clerks gave Dante's women a little more dimension.
That said, the heartfelt parts were beautiful, as well as most of the jokes good. Rosario Dawson is growing on me as an actress.
