Colour 8 quad?

I just saw this on ebay. When I google the names they match up with the Colour 4 quad from Spring colour forecast, but the label at the back of the palette clearly says colour 8. http://cgi.ebay.com/MAC-Full-Size-Eye-Shadow-Quad-NIB-PLUS-FREE-LIPSTICK-/110652355541?pt=US_Makeup_Eyes&hash=item19c364f3d5#ht_718wt_922 I'd hate for it to be fake, I've never seen counterfeit versions of the new style quad before.

honestly i would skip. the fact that it is so cheap and that the seller is giving a free mac lipstick with it just because the top of the case is scuffed is weird. but yeah it should be colour 4 and not 8. all a little fishy! that said i havent seen fakes of the new quads yet but it doesnt mean they're not out there.

Look at the 'e' on the front of the box, too. Doesn't look right to me

I would stay away too. More than the "E", I actually noticed the strange weight of the eyeshadows in front of the box. 10g? Genuine quads are 5.6g.. definitely not 10g.. They got it right on the back of the shadow but the box gives it away. Definitely fake. The colors are all wrong as well. Colour 4 quad with the same colors are all neutrals and browns.

Ok. If we weren't sure before here's actual proof that there are fakes of the new quads. The pans seem to sit a little deeper than on real quads. The colour on the lower right looks very much like the "colour 8" quad on ebay I think.

oh i just looked at this sellers other items. the are selling lipsticks from the 'bb' collection that were never released. plus the packaging they have come up with is very different to how bb actually looked. yes stay well away!
