Comfortable Shoes

My shoes need some major updating. I would like to get some fashionable and comfortable shoes. Mostly heels and boots but I am interested in all kinds of things. Interested in both trendy and classic.

I am wondering though what brands are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I know I have heard some more expensive ones are built better so they are more comfortable but I don't know where to start. Price wise $150 is really pushing it.

Would just like to hear what everyone likes.

I'm definitely not a shoe maven as I have very wide feet & it's more about comfort than fashion. I've shopped successfully online at shoebuy.com where they have shoe reviews listed. And I hear alot of gals like zappos.com. Sorry, best I can recommend.
