Concealer to match foundation?

I have the medium concealer pallete...personally, I don't really like it because it doesn't conceal what I want and dries my skin out terribly.

I'm thinking of purchasing the select moisturecover concealer the next time I go to the counter. Should I get a color that matches my skin or the a color that matches my foundation ( I wear a foundation lighter than my skin tone...I got tanned :[)?

if you are planning to wear just concealer then it should match your skintone but if you are wearing foundation with it, it should be 1-2 shades lighter.

If you have bad dark circles 2 shades lighter, if not, then 1 shade lighter than your foundation, definitely not matching your skintone since you use a lighter foundation.

I always use a concealer that is a shade lifghter than my foundation. It's never let me down.
