Conventions for hair tools

does anyone know where you can go to these events without a license??
my cousin has one but her friend gave it to her and she moved.. .. does anyone go to these things??

I'm taking a hair and athtetics class and they were talking about this. I don't know but I'm pretty sure you can't just go I think it has to be with your school (hair class) or with a licensed stylist. I'm not to sure though..

you have to be in the industry with a license to go to a hair expo. . . its mainly to give stylists information on up and coming products. not generally for the public ( i think a non licensed person can go with a Licensed professional. has to be a vaild license though)
