thank you all!! you'd think by now that i would have learned how to multiquote on here.. sorry..

foiling- the term (from my understanding) is just using the shadows wet to give it a super shiny look. raquel13 (sp?) i know has a great tut on it. for this, i did the home-made mixing medium to 'foil'. oh i need to do a post on my blog! check it out (in my signature)
@ southern intellect: funny you mention cuz i felt the same way. the lips seemed very matchy matchy to me and she has the same bronzy/gold coloring throughout her 'look' hair, skin, eyes, mouth.... i tried this fab rust color on her. i'll post it. i didn't want to plaster her face on this forum as i didn't get her permission but i really want to show you guys!

ETA: actually THIS is a better example of what I did. Raquel's is great giving you the entire process for a look, but this is basically what i did-- used a shadow 'wet' by wetting my brush with a mixing medium and a bit of pigment and put it on the lids! HTH!
here's the other pic i took where i used a gorgeous rust color (milani's all about me) it's even more gorgeous in person...
